Just in - off duty police escorts are willing to drive 14 passenger vans from NJ to Washington, DC on the 12th. The cost of the driver will be $25 per hour, plus the cost of the van. 9/12 Survival Kit

9/12 Survival Kit
What every rally goer should have
METAL FLAG POLES AND BANNER HOLDERS ARE FORBIDDEN
Your identification on your body. Carry your money and room card and ID inside your clothes against your skin If you are a woman do not carry a handbag.
A cell phone, and a list the numbers of those your party in case you get separated along with the number of the hotel where you are staying.
A map with the route back to your hotel.
A back pack with sunscreen
2 bottles of water
Some fruit, bananas, or apples
A sandwich
2 energy bars per person
Some nuts (not including your traveling companions!), walnuts, peanuts or almonds
A package of Kleenex (in case you get weepy or for the porta johns)
Packages of moist towelettes
Hand Sanitizer
Small portable am/fm radio
Your digital camera
Extra batteries
A small first aid kit
A collapsible umbrella
A small blanket to sit on
A light rainproof jacket or sweater
What ever medications you may need to take during those 8 hours.
A trash bag to totally police your area at the end of the day remember, this is our property, and we need to leave it as beautiful as we found it.
If you are unable to sit on the ground or stand for long period of time one of those chairs that folds up, which may or may not be a problem as metal poles are not allowed.
Bring your video camera and be prepared at all times to use it in case anyone attempts to start trouble and make us look bad, be ready to record!
Wear comfortable shoes.
Be Prepared!
There will not be any vendors, food, or water for sale on the grounds as it is against Capitol policy. So it is imperative that you bring what you need.
